Discharge & Billing

How an encounter ends.

Patient Care → Discharge

🚶 Mobility

Pick how the patient leaves:

OptionLastsThey get
Fit, no restrictions-Nothing
Rest, no running or jumping10 minA movement restriction
Crutches required15 minA crutch item
Wheelchair required10 minA wheelchair item

Default is Rest.

This is a real mechanic, not flavour text. A patient discharged on crutches genuinely cannot sprint for 15 minutes.

The crutch or wheelchair is handed over and equipped on the spot. What each order blocks, how broken legs set their own orders, and how to change them later: Mobility Orders.

💰 The bill

The script adds up the fees of everything you actually did and suggests a total.

ExampleFee
Bandage$40
Suture$150
Cast$400
X-Ray$250
CT scan$450
Surgery$2,500
Morphine$120

You can adjust the amount before sending. Maximum $25,000.

Where the money goes

25%To you, the treating medic
75%To the EMS society account

If the patient has an insurance plan, the discount is applied automatically.

If you run a billing resource (okokBilling, codem-billing, jim-payments, esx_billing) the bill goes through it. Otherwise the patient gets a built-in accept / decline prompt.

💊 Prescription

Write one at discharge if the patient needs to keep taking something. See Prescriptions.

📄 The report

The full record is saved automatically, injuries, treatments, medications, procedures, tests, diagnoses, initial and final vitals, disposition and notes.

It goes into their medical record and is pushed to your MDT.

⭐ Patient ratings

After discharge, the patient is asked to rate their care 1 to 5 stars.

RatingYour reputation
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+3
⭐⭐⭐⭐+1
⭐⭐⭐0
⭐⭐−1
⭐−3

This is the script's built-in incentive against speedrunning patients. A medic who bandages someone and walks off gets rated accordingly, and it shows on the public leaderboard.
