Dispatch
How calls reach you and how you take them.
📞 Where calls come from
| Source | Trigger |
|---|---|
| Distress signal | A downed player pressing G |
| EMS call | A conscious player typing /911ems <what happened> |
| Code blue | A monitored patient crossing a critical vitals threshold |
| Reception page | Someone pressing "Page a doctor" on a hospital board |
| AI callout | The script generating a random patient |
📋 The dispatch list
EMS Tablet → Dispatch
Every live call, with:
- what happened (the caller's own description, if they gave one),
- where,
- how long ago,
- whether another medic has already responded.
Filter by All, Down or No pulse.
Responding
Press Respond and:
- A GPS waypoint is set to the call.
- Your name appears on the patient's death screen, so they know help is actually coming.
- Other medics see the call is taken.
Responding is what turns a death screen from a countdown into a scene. The patient stops considering respawning the moment they see a name.
🔗 Your own dispatch script
If you run a dispatch resource, calls go into it instead of the built-in alerts. Supported out of the box:
kartik-mdt · lb-tablet · ps-dispatch · cd_dispatch · qs-dispatch · core_dispatch · rcore_dispatch · tk_dispatch
With none of them running, the script uses its own alerts.
Dispatch code: 10-52.
🚨 Code blue
When a patient connected to a patient monitor crosses a critical threshold, a code blue fires automatically.
| Threshold | |
|---|---|
| Heart rate | below 40 or above 150 |
| Systolic pressure | below 80 |
| Oxygen saturation | below 88% |
| Temperature | above 40 °C |
The code blue:
- pages every on-duty medic,
- alarms on that hospital's board,
- appears in the dispatch list.
Cooldown: 90 seconds, so a fluctuating patient does not spam the channel.
⏱️ Limits
| Distress signal cooldown | 60s |
/911ems cooldown | 120s |
/911ems message length | 120 characters |
| Calls expire after | 10 minutes |
| Blips last | 5 minutes |
Calls are removed automatically when the patient is revived.
📍 Unit blips
On-duty medics see each other on the map, updated every 3 seconds, with different icons for on foot, in a vehicle and in a helicopter.
Police can see EMS units too (shareWithPolice = true). Servers can require a radio item to appear.
