Layout Marketplace
Layout Marketplace
An interior-designer marketplace: capture a property's furniture layout, publish it for sale, and let others buy and apply it to a property with the same shell. Sellers set a price; the platform takes a commission.
Open it from F7 → Interior Designs.
Configured with Config.LayoutMarket in
shared/economy.lua.
The core rule, same shell only
A layout only applies to a property with the exact same shell (interior model) it was captured from. This is enforced on purchase and on the "Fits my properties" filter. Walk-ins are refused (they share one interior id but sit at different world locations, so coordinates aren't portable).
Allowed source kinds: shell, IPL. Furniture offsets are stored shell-relative, so a bought layout lines up perfectly on a matching shell.
Selling a layout
- F7 → Interior Designs → Sell.
- Pick one of your properties, set a title, description and price
(
MinPrice100 …MaxPrice5,000,000). - Publish, the layout's furniture is copied into the listing, with a thumbnail taken from the property's first listing photo (if any).
Limits: up to Config.LayoutMarket.MaxActivePerSeller (10) active listings.
Titles/descriptions capped at TitleMax/DescMax.
Buying & applying a layout
- F7 → Interior Designs → Browse. Filter to "Fits my properties".
- Buy a layout and choose a same-shell target property.
- The layout replaces the target's furniture. Storage allocations are clamped to the buyer's fit-out caps; pieces that can't fit are dropped, and the target's safe PINs are cleared.
Money
- Buyer is debited the price. The commission (
CommissionRate, 10%) goes to the platform/state sink; the rest is credited to the seller (offline-safe).
Moderation
- Listings can be reported; after
HideAfterReports(5) reports a listing is auto-hidden (set to 0 to disable). - Admins have a server-side lever to hide a listing.
