Companies & Roles
Block mode only. In Classic mode, the equivalent management surface is the Job Hub.
In Block mode, real estate is run by player companies. A company owns land blocks, builds and sells property, employs staff, holds a treasury, keeps a ledger, and tracks its customers: all from the tablet's Company hub.
Registering a company
- F7 → apply for a company registration. The applicant pays the licence fee
(
Config.LicenceFee, default $50,000). - A member of
Config.CompanyApprovalJobs(e.g. DOJ) reviews it in the Approvals screen and approves or rejects. - On approval the company gets an active licence valid for
Config.LicenceDurationDays(30). An expired or frozen licence blocks building and sales until renewed.
Limits: Config.MaxCompaniesPerPlayer (1 by default). Registration can be closed
entirely with Config.CompanyRegistrationOpen = false.
Roles & permissions
Companies use user-defined roles with bitflag permissions. Every action in the resource maps to a flag, so you can build any hierarchy.
Default role templates

Higher rank manages lower ranks. Edit roles in Company → Roles (needs
MANAGE_ROLES).

Treasury & ledger
- Treasury: the company's money. Deposits (
DEPOSIT) and withdrawals (WITHDRAW) are permission-gated. Land purchases, construction costs, and sale/rent revenue all flow through it. - Ledger: an itemised statement of every credit/debit (sales, rent,
salaries, deposits, withdrawals). View with
VIEW_LEDGER.
Employees & salaries
- Hire / Fire staff (
HIRE/FIRE) and assign them a role. - Set salaries (
SET_SALARY) paid from the treasury.
Customer directory
Company → Customers lists past and present customers, correlated from
durable records, lease tenants, contract recipients, and
property buyers (traced by matching the audit log to the company ledger). Each
profile opens a full record: leases, agreements, and purchases, with an
isCurrent flag for active tenants/owners.
Dashboard
Company → Overview is a shared Dashboard landing with headline figures (properties, blocks, occupancy, revenue) fed by a single data feed. The Admin registry shows the same dashboard scoped to the whole map.
