Company & Job Property Ownership

The Company & Job Property Ownership system allows players to purchase or lease real estate directly on behalf of their registered companies or framework jobs (such as police, EMS, or realtors). This feature is supported in both Classic and Block operating modes.

When a player walks up to a listing on the market or selects a unit inside a building and clicks Accept & Purchase or Sign Lease, they will be presented with a Profile Picker Overlay if they belong to any company or job with leasing permissions.

1. Personal: Pays for and deeds the property directly to the player's personal citizen CID.
2. Company: Pays for and registers the property/lease under the selected company ID.
   • Requirement: The citizen must be a member of the company and hold the MANAGE_LEASE permission.
3. Job: Pays for and registers the property/lease under the active framework job.
   • Requirement: The citizen must belong to the job and be a Boss grade, or hold the MANAGE_LEASE permission flag (configured via classic Job Hub).

Economy & Automated BillingCopy Anchor Link

All financial transactions, down payments, and recurring bills are routed dynamically based on the ownership type:

• Company Owned/Leased:
  • Purchase deposits or weekly/monthly rents are debited directly from the company's treasury bank account.
  • Utility payments (power, water, service subscriptions) are debited from the company's ledger.
• Job Owned/Leased:
  • Purchases and rental bills are debited directly from the job's framework society account.
  • Writes audit logs directly to the job ledger (e.g., kp_job_ledger) for transparency.

Access to company or job-owned properties is integrated directly into the security locks and client interactions:

• Locks & Entrance:
  • Company Properties: Any company member holding a role with the MANAGE_LEASE permission can lock/unlock, edit guest keys, and customize the interior.
  • Job Properties: All employees belonging to the owner job are granted access key permissions to lock/unlock and enter the property. Bosses can manage upgrades and settings.
• Door Labels: Entrance menus and unit pickers automatically recognize who owns the property, displaying tags like Company Property or Job Property instead of public labels like For Sale or personal labels like Your Residence.

Map Blips & PortfoliosCopy Anchor Link

• Personal My Properties: Employees of a job will automatically see job-owned and job-leased properties in their tablet's My Properties list and receive GPS/radar blips on their maps.
• Company Portfolio: Company members will see company-leased and company-owned properties in their company's Portfolio and map.
• Visual Badging: Cards inside the tablet lists are visually badged (e.g., a blue Personal badge or an orange POLICE / company badge) so players can easily identify which entity owns the holding.
