Hideouts
Every gang has a hideout: a private base with a stash, a wardrobe and the management desk. Gangs can buy better interiors as they grow and decorate them with furniture.
๐งฑ Hideout types
Staff choose the type when creating the gang (see Getting Started):
| Type | How it works |
|---|---|
| IPL interior | A GTA interior. Each gang gets its own private copy, so gangs never run into each other inside. |
| Shell | A shell interior spawned privately for the gang. |
| MLO | A building on your map. Nobody is teleported; the desk, stash and wardrobe are placed directly in the world. |
Furniture is only available for IPL and shell hideouts, not MLOs.
๐ช Using the hideout
Entering
- Walk up to the entrance and choose Enter Hideout.
- If other players are standing nearby, you can choose Enter alone or Enter with guests (up to 6).
- Guests get a prompt to accept.
Guests can look around, but can't use the stash, desk or wardrobe.
Inside you'll find:
- the Desk, which opens Management
- the Stash
- the Wardrobe
- the Exit
Leaving
- Use the exit door.
- If you respawn somewhere else (for example at the hospital), you leave automatically.
- If you disconnect inside, you're placed back outside the entrance next time.
On the map, members see their hideout marked.
๐๏ธ Buying interiors
Open Hideout โ Interiors at the desk (needs Management).
- Every gang owns the free starter interior.
- Other interiors have a price and a required gang level, and are paid from the treasury.
- Use interior switches to it. Anyone inside moves with it.
Interiors included out of the box:
| Interior | Price | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Starter Garage | Free | 1 |
| Low-End Apartment | $25,000 | 2 |
| Small Warehouse | $75,000 | 4 |
| Large Warehouse | $200,000 | 8 |
| Biker Clubhouse | $350,000 | 10 |
| Bunker | $750,000 | 15 |
Staff can add, edit, hide or remove interiors in Admin โ Interiors. The library includes 17 GTA interiors (apartments, garages, warehouses, clubhouses, bunker, drug labs) and ready-made presets for the K4MB1 Starter Shells and K4MB1 Illegal Operations packs.
Shell interiors only show up while their shell pack is running. They aren't sold on the tablet unless you turn on ShellsPurchasable in shared/hideout.lua; staff can still assign them to gangs.
๐ฆ Stash
- Opened at the stash point. Needs the Stash permission.
- Holds 100 slots. The weight limit comes from the Stash upgrade (2 kg to start, +5 kg per upgrade).
- Storage furniture such as fridges, safes and cabinets adds extra stashes of its own.
๐๏ธ Furniture
Open it from Tablet โ Hideout โ Furniture or with /hideoutfurniture while inside your hideout. Needs the Furniture permission.
Barriers, sandbags, fences and other props for the area around your entrance are placed from outside, see Outdoor Fortifications.
Decorate mode
Decorate mode opens a free camera with move and rotate handles, plus a shop panel:
| Control | Action |
|---|---|
| W A S D | Fly around |
| Right mouse | Look around |
| Click / Shift + Click | Select one / several pieces |
| R | Switch between move and rotate |
| T | Switch world / local axes |
| Scroll | Nudge |
| G | Snap to floor |
| Ctrl + D | Duplicate |
| Delete | Send to storage |
| Enter | Save |
When you save, the gang uses pieces it already has in storage first. Everything else is bought from the treasury in one go.
Furniture types
| Type | What it does |
|---|---|
| Decor | Decoration only |
| Storage | Adds its own stash (for example a fridge or safe) |
| Desk | Opens the management desk (laptop, monitors) |
| Wardrobe | Opens the gang wardrobe (drawers, clothes rail) |
The shop has around 80 pieces across 10 categories.
Selling: stored furniture sells back for 90% of its price. Storage pieces must be empty first.
Limits:
| Limit | Default |
|---|---|
| Pieces a gang can own | 150 |
| Pieces placed in the hideout at once | 80 |
| Placement distance from the door | 35 m |
๐ Wardrobe
Open it at the wardrobe point, at wardrobe furniture, or from the tablet. Needs the Wardrobe permission.
- Wear any gang outfit.
- Save current outfit or Delete an outfit (needs Management).
- Restore my clothes puts your own look back.
- The number of outfits depends on the Outfit Slots upgrade.
- Outfits only fit the ped model they were saved on (male / female).
๐ก๏ธ Hideout guards
Gangs can station armed guards outside their hideout entrance. Buy them on the tablet under Management โ Upgrades (Hideout guards, one guard per level, up to 4).
- Guards stand a few metres from the entrance and attack members of other gangs who come within 25 m of the door.
- They never attack the gang's own members, downed players or on-duty EMS, even when a member bumps into them or hits them by accident. Police and players outside any gang are left alone unless
Guards.Targetsis set to'everyone'. - Anyone outside the gang who shoots or hits a guard is fought back, and is remembered for a minute (up to twice the alert range), even with
Guards.Targets = 'rivals'. - They don't chase far: once the threat is gone they walk back to their post.
- Online members get a warning when a guard is in a fight, and another when a guard is killed. A killed guard is replaced after 15 minutes.
- Guards only stand while a player is nearby, so they cost nothing when nobody is around. A guard bought while nobody is near appears within a few seconds of someone arriving.
- On the tablet (Hideout โ Guards) the gang can pick a look for each guard and place it on an exact spot near the entrance. Picks and spots are saved across restarts. See Guards tab.
All of this can be changed in shared/hideout.lua under Guards (see Hideout settings). The price and the maximum are in shared/economy.lua (UpgradePrices.guards, UpgradeCaps.guards).
๐ Police raids
During an active raid, police can enter the hideout and search the stash. Stash searches during a raid are recorded in the gang's activity log.
