Vehicle Gunrack

The Vehicle Gunrack provides officers with seat-based weapon storage racks directly inside patrol cruisers, separating department firearms from normal vehicle stashes.

Technical Features

  • Seat-based Storage: Gunracks are accessed from inside the vehicle and are configured per seat (e.g. Driver, Passenger, Rear Left, Rear Right).
  • Vehicle & Seat Gating: Only opens on explicitly configured vehicle models and specific seats within those models.
  • Storage Configuration: Each seat configures its own slots count and maxWeight limit.
  • Unique Stash ID: Stash IDs are dynamically generated in the format <vehicle_model>_<plate>_<seat> (e.g. police2_7587DS_2).

How to Use In-Game

  1. Sit in Configured Seat: Sit inside an authorized police vehicle in a seat configured to have a gunrack.
  2. Access Gunrack: Use the Police Radial Menu option Open Gunrack, type /gunrack, or press the configured keybind.
  3. Store Firearms: Store heavy weapons (carbine rifles, shotguns, LIDAR speedguns, spikes) inside.

The Vehicle Purchase Shop allows department leaders and admins to configure and buy police/sheriff vehicles directly, saving purchased vehicles permanently to the player vehicles database.
