Kartik Scripts

In-Game Usage

This guide explains how to access, configure, and use the features of the script in-game.

1. Administration Tablet

Admins with builder access can configure all locations, items, vehicles, and settings in real-time.

  • Access Command: /policeadmin (or /policetablet and select the Admin App).
  • World Object Placer (Zones & Peds):
    • Select "Zones & Peds" from the admin panel to place Armoury, Garage, Vehicle Shop, Classroom, Driving Track, or Duty Points.
    • Controls during placement:
      • Peds (Single-point objects): Click E to place, scroll to rotate, and X to cancel.
      • Polygons (Area zones): Press E to add vertices. The script will render a 3D wireframe box showing the zone volume. Press Q to finish (requires 3+ points) or Backspace to undo.

2. Duty Belt System

  • To Equip: Put a duty_belt item in your inventory.
  • To Open: Double-click or use the duty_belt item.
  • Rules: You can only place whitelisted department items (e.g. firearms, taser, handcuffs, radio, flashlight) inside. If you transfer the belt, its contents transfer with it.

3. Object Placer (Field Props)

  • Access Menu: Use the police_props item or type /placeobject.
  • Placement Controls:
    • Use the Arrow keys to move the ghost prop forward, backward, left, or right.

  • Driving Courses: Instructors start driving courses from the driving track zone. Cadets must follow the wireframe checkpoint markers in chronological order.
