Tracker & GPS Darts
The tracker system keeps patrol units synchronized on the map and provides tools to tag and trace fleeing suspects during pursuits.
Active Officer Blips
- Automatic Sync: When an officer goes on duty (
/dutyor tablet), their live coordinates are broadcast to all other on-duty teammates. - Blip Visuals: Map blips display their callsign, department, and direction of travel.
- Requirements: Officers must carry the
gps_trackeritem (configurable to permission-only).
GPS Dart Tracker
- Vehicle Tagging: Officers can fire a GPS tracking dart onto a fleeing vehicle or suspect.
- Mapping HUD: Once tagged, the target's coordinates update on the department's map HUD for a configured duration (e.g. 5 minutes).
- Suspect Removal: Fleeing suspects can stop their vehicle, step out to the rear bumper, and perform a timed mini-game to manually pull the GPS dart off their vehicle, removing the track.
How to Use In-Game
Activating the GPS Tracker:
- Ensure you have the
gps_trackeritem in your inventory. - Use the item to turn on your GPS transmitter. Your blip will now appear on all active duty maps.
Launching GPS Darts:
- Ensure your vehicle has a GPS Dart launcher installed, or use the
gps_dartitem in your inventory. - Target a vehicle in front of you and trigger the dart (radial menu or bound key).
- A successful hit will play a sound and highlight the suspect vehicle on your minimap with a blinking tracker icon.
- Suspect Disabling: Fleeing suspects can stand near their vehicle's license plate and choose "Remove GPS Tracker" from the target menu to pull the dart off.
Surveillance Drone
The Surveillance Drone is a highly advanced tactical tool that allows officers to deploy a flyable quadcopter to scan rooftops, spy on barricaded suspects, search dark areas, and transport small items.
