Dark Chat
"Anonymous channel shared by every organisation": one chat room for every gang member on the server.

🧑💻 Who you are
At the top:
- "Posting as [alias]": the name other players see.
- No alias set? You post as Anonymous-XXXX, and a "Set an alias" link is shown.
- Change alias opens your Profile.
- The number of messages in the channel.
💬 The feed
- Messages are grouped by day (Today, then dates).
- Messages from the same person within 5 minutes are grouped together.
- Your messages appear on the right as "You as [alias]".
- Each alias gets its own colour, so you can follow a conversation.
- Scrolled up? A "N new messages" button takes you back to the bottom.
✍️ Sending a message
- Type in the box: "Write something to other gangs".
- Press Enter to send.
Rules:
- 2 to 280 characters (the counter turns red when you go over).
- Plain text only.
- Wait 3 seconds between messages. The send button shows a countdown.
🔔 Notifications
When your tablet is closed, new messages pop up as phone-style notifications, and a badge appears on Dark Chat in the sidebar.
ℹ️ Good to know
- The last 100 messages are kept.
- Sending too fast gives you "You are sending messages too fast."
Anonymous to players, not to staff. Server staff can see who really sent each message.
