Scene Creator
The scene creator opens from the tablet's Settings (the gear, top right) → Training scenes, or from /fireadmin. Build a scene where you stand, save it and run it any time as a live call or as training (Config.Scenes).
Who can use it
| Build and run scenes | Admins and firefighters of grade 3 and up (minGrade) |
| Run saved scenes as training | Firefighters of grade 1 and up (runGrade) |
What you can place
Aim where it should go (up to 25 m away) and place:
- Fires of any type, and smoke
- Gas leaks, chemical spills and timed explosions
- Locked doors to force
- Props (quick picks, or type any model name)
- Vehicles: a wreck, on fire, or with the driver trapped
- People: trapped, injured, a caller or an evacuee, each with a chosen condition
Up to 40 elements per scene and 60 scenes. Scenes are saved in the database (kfj_store).
Running a scene
| Training | Live | |
|---|---|---|
| Pay | None | The scene's reward (default 1200) |
| XP | Half (trainingXp) | Full (default 120) |
| MDT | Not posted | Posted like any call |
| Station alarm | Only if you ask for it | Rings the closest station |
Scenes have a 30 minute time limit by default.
Sharing scenes
Build your own missions here and share them with other server owners as JSON.
- Export as JSON (open a scene): the scene is saved as
scenes/<name>.jsoninside the resource and copied to your clipboard. - Import a scene file: put a
.jsonfile someone sent you in the resource'sscenes/folder and type its name. - Import a scene: paste the JSON straight in. Older
KFJ1:share codes still work.
Scenes keep their places in the world, so they work on servers with the same map. Imported scenes are checked like any saved scene: unknown fields are dropped and values are kept in range, so a bad or edited file is refused or cleaned. scenes/example_house_fire.json ships as an example.
