Going Down
You do not die instantly. When your health runs out, or your blood volume drops below 2,600 ml, you collapse into last stand.
⏱️ How long you have
4 minutes by default.
But that timer is not the whole story, if you are still bleeding, your blood volume may run out first. A level 4 bleed will kill you long before four minutes are up.
Taking more damage while you are down finishes you. Do not expect to be safe on the ground during a shootout.
🐛 Crawling
Press W and S to crawl forward and backward. Use it to get out of the road, behind cover, or somewhere a medic can actually reach you.
📡 Calling for help
Press G to send a distress signal.
This does several things at once:
- Puts you on every on-duty medic's tablet dispatch list with your position.
- Sends a page to every medic carrying a pager.
- Fires an alert into your server's dispatch script (
ps-dispatch,cd_dispatch, kartik-mdt, whatever you run). - Drops a blip on the map for responding medics.
You can send another one every 60 seconds.
A medic who accepts your call shows up on your death screen by name, so you know someone is actually coming and roughly how far away they are.
📞 Calling EMS while still standing
You do not have to be down to call. If you are conscious but hurt:
/911ems I've been shot in the leg outside the bankThat appears in the same medic dispatch list with your description.
🧑⚕️ Who can pick you up

| A civilian with a first aid kit | Help you up, but only once the bleeding is controlled. A first aid kit will not save someone with an arterial bleed |
| Anyone doing CPR | Extends your timer. Small chance of bringing you round on its own |

🧍 Getting helped up
Being helped up from last stand puts you back on your feet at 35% health.
Being helped up does not fix anything. Your bleeding, wounds, fractures and illnesses are all still there. If you are still bleeding you will simply go down again. Get treated properly.
⏳ If nobody comes
When the timer runs out, you die and move to the death screen.
🐕 Animal characters
If your server lets players use animal models, they lie down with proper animal animations instead of the human writhe. Animals without a configured animation just ragdoll.
