Checking Yourself

You can always see what is wrong with you, but only in plain words, the way a person would describe how they feel. You do not get a medic's chart.

๐Ÿฉบ My injuries, radial menu โ†’ Health

My injuries

Opens a body view showing how each part feels. It is written in everyday language:

"Your right arm is bleeding badly." "Your left leg feels broken, you cannot put weight on it." "You feel feverish and short of breath."

You will not see exact numbers, blood pressure, or the name of your illness. That is what a medic with a stethoscope and a blood test is for.

Also available from the radial menu โ†’ Health โ†’ My injuries.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ The injury HUD

Status HUD

A small set of icons in the corner of your screen showing your current problems, bleeding, fracture, pain, next to a body map coloured by which parts are hurt.

Changing when it shows

Radial menu โ†’ Health โ†’ Injury HUD cycles through three modes:

Mode
AutoOnly appears while you are injured (default)
AlwaysAlways on screen
HiddenNever shown

Moving and resizing it

Radial menu โ†’ Health โ†’ Injury HUD position. Drag it anywhere, resize it, press ENTER to save. Your choice is remembered.

Both can also be bound to a key: GTA Settings โ†’ Key Bindings โ†’ FiveM (Injury HUD: auto / always / hidden and Injury HUD: move & resize).

๐Ÿ” Letting someone look at you

Anyone, police, a friend, a stranger, can target you and choose Check injuries.

  • If you are conscious, you get a prompt and have to accept.
  • If you are down or dead, they can look without asking.

They only see your visible injuries: bleeding, obvious wounds, burns, obvious deformities. They cannot see internal bleeding, illnesses or your vitals.

This is built for police roleplay, an officer can look at a suspect and honestly say "he is bleeding from the arm" without needing to be a medic.

๐Ÿ”‡ Stuck sounds

If an alarm, heartbeat or flatline sound gets stuck after a chaotic scene, reconnecting clears it. Admins also have a Stop sounds button in /emsadmin โ†’ Tools.
