🎬 Cinematic introCopy Anchor Link

New characters get a short cinematic before they ever set foot in town: four camera shots across the map while captions type out in the letterbox.

1899. The age of outlaws is drawing to a close. Railroads and lawmen push further west every year. But out here, a name still means something. Yours has not been written yet.

Players can skip it with Space (Config.Creator.intro.skipKey).

Every shot is set in Config.Creator.intro.shots: camera position and rotation, field of view, how far it drifts, duration, time of day, weather and caption. The captions are the intro_1 to intro_4 lines in the locale file. Set Config.Creator.intro.enabled = false to turn it off.

Admins can play the intro from the Admin Panel previews.
