Traffic Stops
Police units can pull over any AI vehicle while on shift, not only during callouts.
Pulling a vehicle over
- Get behind the vehicle in an emergency vehicle with your lights on.
- Press G. The vehicle ahead (up to 25 m) is targeted and pulls over.
- Walk to the driver's window and press E.
The stop ends if you drive more than 150 m away, or when you choose End stop.
Not every driver stops. The base chance to flee is 3%, and it rises if the driver is wanted (+35), the car is stolen (+45), or they have drugs (+15), alcohol (+10) or a weapon (+20). It is capped at 85%. A driver who flees starts a pursuit.

With warnOnFlags, you get a warning as soon as the driver or vehicle has a warrant or a flag.
What you might find
Vehicles carry items from Config.Contraband.vehicle: registration papers, sunglasses, fast food bags, and sometimes an open beer can, cannabis, cocaine, an unsecured shotgun or stolen goods.

Change them in Config.Interaction.citations.
A driver can only be cited once. Put every charge on the same citation.
