EMS Treatment

Patients on EMS callouts have a real condition. You have to find it, give the right treatments, then get them to a hospital.

Treating a patient

  1. Walk up and press E, then Assess patient (4 seconds).
  2. Patient status shows the condition and vitals: heart rate, blood pressure, SpO₂, breathing rate and responsiveness (AVPU).
  3. Treat patient lists the treatments. Give every treatment the condition needs and the patient is stabilised.
  4. Move them: Support patient (walking), Carry patient, then Load into vehicle.
  5. Drive to a hospital and press E at the marker to hand them over.

Or stand within 40 m of the patient and request an AI ambulance from the tablet. It loads the patient for you.

If a patient refuses transport, use Release (refused transport).

CPR

Each CPR cycle has a 35% chance to bring back a pulse. By the 4th cycle the pulse always returns.

Mass casualty scenes

On the Bus Crash callout, use Triage on each patient to give them a tag. Critical patients who are left untreated go into cardiac arrest, the first after 4 minutes and then one more every minute. An assisting EMS player sees the same patients deteriorate.

Hospitals

Default hospitals: Pillbox Medical, Sandy Shores Medical and Paleto Bay Medical. Add your own in Config.Locations.hospitals.
