Kartik Scripts

Optional Props

kartik-ambulancejob-props is an optional prop pack. The script works fine without it, every prop has a base-game fallback, and the first model that actually exists in the game is the one used.

Why it is worth it

  • The stretcher has four real positions, flat, lowered, sitting up and folded, that the script swaps between when a medic raises or lowers it. The fallback props only have one.
  • Casts, splints and collars actually look like medical equipment instead of gaffer tape.
  • The hospital board TVs come in four sizes with exact screen measurements already in the config, so the board renders sharp on the glass.
  • The patient monitors have their screen geometry pre-measured, so the live vitals draw perfectly on the prop.
  • The full leg cast is three pieces, thigh, shin and foot, each on its own bone, so it bends with the knee. It takes the shoe off, as a real cast covers the foot.
  • The imaging screens beside the X-ray, CT, MRI and surgery tables need the TVs, and the rolling stand for rooms without a free wall.

Updating the script? Update the prop pack too. Download the latest kartik-ambulancejob-props from the Cfx Portal with every release, new features often come with new props.

Installing

Drop the folder into your resources and ensure it before kartik-ambulancejob.

Nothing else to configure, the script detects which models exist at runtime.

Using your own props

Every prop list in the config is an array. The script walks it and uses the first model that loads:

models = { 'kartik_stretcher', 'fernocot', 'strykergurney', 'v_med_emptybed' },

Put your own model first in the list.

For props that attach to a body part, position them live on yourself: /emsadmin → Tools → Prop positions. Pick the prop and the body part, move it with the on-screen controls, press ENTER, and the finished config line is copied for you to paste.

Prop showcase on the same page lines up every custom prop in front of you, the quickest way to check the pack loaded.

For patient monitors and TVs there are equivalents:

/monitoradjust
/tvadjust
