Installation Guide
1. Drop the resource in
Put the kartik-ambulancejob folder into your resources directory.
Keep the folder name exactly kartik-ambulancejob. Exports, events and images all reference it by name.
2. Stop your old medical scripts
Remove or comment out qbx_medical, qbx_ambulancejob, qb-ambulancejob, esx_ambulancejob and any other death script from your server.cfg.
3. Ensure it in the right order
kartik-ambulancejob must start after its dependencies:
ensure ox_lib
ensure oxmysql
ensure qbx_core # or qb-core / es_extended
ensure ox_inventory # or your inventory
ensure ox_target # or your target script
ensure kartik-ambulancejobIf you use Envi-Medic, start kartik-ambulancejob before envi-medic.
4. Add the items
The script uses 70 items. Add them to your inventory now:
- ox_inventory → ox_inventory guide
- qb-inventory / ps-inventory / lj-inventory / qs / codem / tgiann / origen → qb-based guide
Do not skip the images step, items without images show an empty icon.
5. Start the server
On the first start the script:
- creates all its database tables,
- imports three example hospitals (Pillbox, Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay),
- enables the
ambulancejob as medical staff with default rank permissions, - adds a starter set of report templates.
Check your console. You should see the resource start with no errors and no conflict warnings.
6. Configure it in game
Everything else is done in game with /emsadmin. Go to First Setup.
