Styles
Every style below can be picked by players in /hud, and every one can be allowed, locked or set as the default in Config.Options using its id.
All of these are also available in the HUD Builder as editable starting points, open New design → Start from a /hud style.
🚗 Speedometers
Used for cars (speedometer). Motorcycles (motorcycle), boats (boatSpeedometer) and electric cars (evSpeedometer) can use any of them too, or their own displays below. Classic, Racing Line and Redline can also show the indicators and lights inside the dial (/hud → Cars).
Classic, signal
Segmented rpm ring, big speed, fuel and engine gauges.

Sport Ring, apex
Thin ring with a heavy speed sweep, an rpm hairline and side capsules for fuel and engine.

Dashboard, duo
Wide panel, speed ring on the left, gear, rpm, fuel and engine rows on the right.

Big Number, block
A huge speed figure with an rpm column.

Digital Dash, lcd
Old in-dash LCD screen with ghost digits and a dot-matrix rpm strip.

Watch Face, chrono
Needle dial with a small rpm sub-dial.

Slim, strip
One slim capsule: gear, speed and hairline fuel / engine gauges.

Racing Line, vector
Bent line gauge with the redline ticked above it.

Redline, ember
Round dial with a grey-to-red redline band and a curved fuel gauge.

⚡ Electric cars
Picked in /hud → Electric Cars (evSpeedometer). Used in every car listed in Config.ElectricVehicles, and in cars the game itself marks as electric.
| What they show | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Battery | The vehicle's fuel level, so fuel scripts that charge EVs through fuel (ox_fuel, lc_fuel, cdn-fuel…) just work |
| Range | Battery × Config.EvRangeKm, in miles or km to match the player's units |
| Power (kW) | Worked out from the accelerator: more throttle, more power |
| Regen (green) | Braking or coasting at speed recharges the battery; power meters swing below zero |
| P‑R‑N‑D | P with the motor off, R when reversing, D when driving |
GTA has no real motor or battery data, so power and regen are estimated from the pedals. They react like a real EV but aren't physics.
Volt, volt
Round dial with a power meter that swings right under load and left (green) while regenerating. The battery curves along the bottom. This is the default.

Current, current
Wide, flat cluster: speed and gear selector on the left, a centre-zero power bar and the battery on the right.

Cell, cell
Battery first: a tall pack of cells that fill from the bottom. The next cell glows while regen charges it.

Flux, flux
Energy flow from battery to motor to wheels. The dots run towards the wheels under power and back into the battery during regen.

Pulse, pulse
A scrolling graph of the last ~9 seconds of power (up) and regen (down, green) under the speed.

Eco Needle, eco
Analogue needle over Charge, Eco, Power and Boost zones. The zone you're driving in lights up.

Twin Dial, twin
Speed on the left dial, power on the right, gear selector and battery between them.

Halo, halo
Minimal ring: the battery is a segmented halo all the way round, power a thin inner arc.

Same as car: car uses the player's normal car speedometer in EVs too.
🏍️ Motorcycles
Picked in /hud → Motorcycles (motorcycle).

| Style | |
|---|---|
Same as car, car | Uses the player's car speedometer |
Lean, lean | Shift lights, speed and gear over a lean-angle arc. The arc turns amber past 45°, and it keeps peak markers for the furthest lean each side. It also shows a wheelie indicator and a fuel bar |
| Any speedometer id | signal, apex, duo and the rest from above |
Helmet warning: with Warn when riding without a helmet on, a chime plays while you ride without a helmet. It uses the same timing as the seatbelt chime (Config.Seatbelt.warningInterval). Clothing scripts can report a helmet by setting LocalPlayer.state.helmet; otherwise the game's own helmet check is used.
🚤 Boats
Picked in /hud → Boats (boatSpeedometer).

| Style | |
|---|---|
Helm, helm | Boat helm: a heading tape, speed in knots (or mph / km/h), a throttle lever, and water depth under the hull, which turns red below 3 m. It also shows anchor, engine, lights and fuel chips |
| Any speedometer id | signal, apex, duo and the rest from above |
Submersibles (submersible, submersible2, avisa, kosatka) use the Helm display and show dive depth below the surface instead of water depth. To add more models, list them in Config.VehicleKindOverrides as "submersible".
❤️ Player status
Each stat's colour, and whether it shows always / when relevant / never, is set in /hud → Player Status.
