fixArms
Re-applies the correct arms (component 3) for the top the player is currently wearing. Call it after another resource has changed component 3 out from under you, a job uniform script, a damage system, an animation resource.
Resolves in the same order the shop does: an admin-authored pairing first (when Config.AuthoredArms is on), then GTA's own recommendation.
๐ก Syntax
local arms = exports['kartik-clothing']:fixArms()๐ฅ Parameters
None. Always acts on the local player's ped.
๐ค Returns
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
table | nil | The arms that were applied as { componentId, drawable, texture }, or nil if nothing needed changing. |
๐ป Example
-- After a uniform script has overwritten the torso
exports['some-jobs']:applyUniform()
local arms = exports['kartik-clothing']:fixArms()
if arms then
print(('Arms corrected to %d/%d'):format(arms.drawable, arms.texture))
