PinkFrog Inventory (ox_inventory v3)

kartik-clothing works with PinkFrog's ox_inventory v3 and its clothing slots (pinkFrog_inventoryAddon). Bought and worn clothes stay in sync with the inventory automatically.

Setup

  1. In pinkFrog_inventoryAddon/shared/config.lua set:

    Config.skinSystem = 'illenium-appearance'

    kartik-clothing answers PinkFrog's illenium-appearance calls itself. You do not need illenium-appearance installed, and no files need replacing.

  2. Restart pinkFrog_inventoryAddon and kartik-clothing.

Option

In kartik-clothing/shared/config_inventory.lua:

Config.Inventory = {
    -- ...
    PinkFrogSync = 'auto',
}
ValueMeaning
'auto'On when pinkFrog_inventoryAddon is installed (default)
trueAlways on
falseOff

When it syncs

PinkFrog's clothing slots are refreshed automatically after:

  • buying clothes in a clothing shop
  • saving the character's look (character creator, wardrobe outfits, job outfits)
  • any outfit change sent with illenium-appearance:client:changeOutfit

Several changes in a row only trigger one refresh.

Clothing slots and items

PinkFrog's clothing slots only take PinkFrog's own clothing items (hat, mask, tshirt, torso, arms, legs, shoes and the rest from its install guide). The addon makes those items from what your character is wearing every time it syncs, so you never drag clothes in yourself: buy or change clothes and the slots fill on their own.

  • Keep kartik-clothing's own clothing items off with PinkFrog: Config.Inventory.Enabled = false in shared/config_inventory.lua (the default). With it on, the shop hands out kartik-clothing items (clothing_item and so on), and PinkFrog's slots do not accept those.
  • PinkFrog's own clothing items must be in ox_inventory/data/items.lua, with their images in ox_inventory/web/images/. The image file names must match the item names exactly.
  • PinkFrog's "real item images" (a picture of the exact piece you wear) only work with PinkFrog's own illenium-appearance redesign, so with kartik-clothing the slots show the normal item images.

For developers

Change a player's outfit the illenium-appearance way (client event). The outfit is applied and saved:

TriggerEvent('illenium-appearance:client:changeOutfit', {
    model = 'mp_m_freemode_01', -- optional
    components = { { component_id = 11, drawable = 15, texture = 0 } },
    props = { { prop_id = 0, drawable = 2, texture = 0 } },
})

Ask for a PinkFrog refresh yourself: syncPinkFrogInventory.
