In Owned Shops, the script does not apply mods immediately to prevent "power-gaming" and encourage roleplay.

1. Check your inventory for a Receipt/Invoice.
2. Stand near the vehicle.
3. "Use" the receipt to open the installation menu and complete the job.

1. Job ID Check: Ensure the Job ID you set in /mechcreator exactly matches your framework job name (case-sensitive).
2. Zone Check: Ensure you are standing inside a correctly defined Customs Zone or Management Zone. Use /mechcreator to verify your zone placement.

Currently, this is a permanent setting chosen at creation. If you need to change types, you should delete the shop and recreate it. Your zones and employees will need to be re-added.

How do I set up job permissions for a custom Owned Shop?Copy Anchor Link

If you are using a custom job for an owned shop:

1. Add your custom job code to the framework's jobs configuration file (e.g. jobs.lua in your core framework).
2. Use that exact same job code when configuring which jobs are allowed to apply vehicle customizations.
3. Ensure the job code matches consistently everywhere to avoid permission or access issues.

There is no SQL file. Kartik-Mechanic features an auto-installer that handles database setup automatically on the first launch. Just ensure your database doesn't have any pre-existing tables starting with mechanic_, vehicle_mileage, or handling_.

My zones are not appearing or saved?Copy Anchor Link

Ensure your database is correctly set up and the oxmysql (or equivalent) is running. All shops and zones are saved to the mechanic_shops table.

1. Item Names: Double-check that the item names in your inventory script match the names in the mechanic bridge.
2. Bridge Sync: If you changed inventory scripts (e.g., from QB to OX), ensure you updated the inventory bridge in the script settings.
